G'day!
Today, I'd like to share with you the punch art bunny and basket that was one of our projects for March's cardARTistry class.
Isn't he cute?! This is what you need to make him:
Punches:
1x ornament - white; 2 x ¾” circle - white; 1 x 1- ¾” circle - white; 4 x large oval - white; each of the hearts of ‘heart to heart’ in pink, the 2 larger ones cut in half; 1 x full heart for him to hold (optional); 2 x hand held hole punch - black.
And you'll also need a white gel pen for the glint in the eye, and a black stampin’ write marker for his little features.
Then you just assemble as shown.
As for the basket - it's really simple. You start with a square base, in this case, a 6"x6" piece of regal rose dsp and you score at 2" and 4" on all sides. Then you cut on two opposing sides the 2 middle score lines. On each corner, use your corner rounder punch. Then you fold it up, attach a brad or an eyelet with the handle and you're done. Here's a side view:
Then at the back, we also added a little 'tail' which doubled for the sentiment! The sentiment is from the teeny tiny sentiment set. And the punches are the large oval and the scallop oval.
If you'd like to order any of these Stampin'Up products to make up one of these yourself, please contact me on 0407 562 535 or send me an email.
Hope you're having a great day!

Hello Renee,
ReplyDeleteI just love 3D projects. This basket is just brilliant! And, as you said in your tutorial, really simple. I will take this to my playgroup and we can make this our Easter project. Thank you for sharing your idea :o)
Cheers, Shari
